By far our favorite shop in the Nashville area! If you’re looking for unique, one-of-a-kind, older, cool vintage guitars (Teisco, Kay, Etc.), then this is perfect place! They restore vintage instruments as well! Not to mention they have our favorite pedal selection around! Jayme and Jack are some of our favorite Nashville people! They are extremely passionate about what they do and we love Guitarcheology!

I am not a professional guitarist that understands the perfection in equipment, set-ups, etc. but, I feel like a pro every time I go into Guitarcheology! Always a friendly reception and as knowledgeable as they come on the things I don't understand. Try out some of the best guitars on the market, new and used.
Whether you are a novice or a pro ... the best selection of equipment around!

"I called Jack and he got me right in there to help get my bass working. We ran into some crazy trail and error issues with changing out the jack on my bass. He was patient & worked hard to get it fixed by even meeting me there on his day off to make sure it was fixed so I'd have it available for my next gig. A great guy and looking forward to doing business here again in the future!"

"Jack is very knowledgeable and genuinely a great guy. He has a true gift in resurrecting long forgotten guitars. An experience that has to be seen to believe so go check this man out! Literally"

Fantastic shop with an assortment of affordable and unique guitars, amps, etc.. A must visit for anyone interested in guitar (or music in general). Staff was super helpful and professional, will be returning soon!

Another amazing bit of work on one of my guitars by Jack . Jack's Guitarcheology is an absolutely fantasic guitar store. Im guilty of having too many guitars..and buying more too often . Everytime I take one of my old guitars to Jack and the crew for a setup, repair , or whatever it needs , when I pick it back up... it's like getting a new guitar again . And it always play better than it ever did before.. This is a great guitar store for most anything you need for guitar. If they don't have it or can't do it for some reason, they know someone that can and does . They have guitars that you will not find anywhere else as well.

"Was so excited to see a guitar shop on the Lebanon square! Guitarcheology took my 50 year old bass and did a magic act. Straightening the neck, fixing the electronics and returning a perfectly set up 50 year “new” bass! Great price and great service! Thanks Jack"

"The owner was very friendly and had awesome guitars. This will definitely be my go to guitar shop in Lebanon."

"Vintage guitars, basses, and more. Neat little shop ran by husband and wife. Jack also does repairs, thanks for letting us explore your goods!"

"Jack is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. And he always has a fun story to tell. And as far as I can tell, he's a guitar expert extraordinaire. If you need help or setup or repairs, he's the guy to go to. And if you're looking for a guitar, or are into any kind of instrument or gear or music, I highly recommend you go see him at his new place on the Lebanon square. He has a widely-varied selection of instruments of all kinds... vintage, weird, modern, you name it. I traded one of my old guitars for a super sweet 1991 Gibson SG I. It was an old beat up and busted thing that Jack spent 12 hours fixing up. So much character and class in this thing. And it plays sooooo smooth and sounds soooo good. Thanks Jack!"

"Great atmosphere, alot of guitars to choose from and owner is very helpful and knowledgeable."

"Jack did a really nice setup and repair job on a bass for me in less than a week's time. He even fixed things I didn't know were wrong. I've since told a friend about Jack's Guitarcheology, and they've brought 3 guitars to him for setups with excellent results. He'll even consign your old gear for you, so you can avoid the hassle of Craigslist sales. Great business, great people."

"I’ve been a customer of Jack for nearly a decade now, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do what he does with my guitars. I love his new store on the Lebanon Square, it’s sure to become a staple of the area. I look forward to visiting again."

"The owner let me hold guitar."

"Jack's Guitarcheology is an awesome place! I highly recommend it. Jack was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He has expert knowledge on every guitar you pick up. So you buy history and maybe even a story with your guitar which makes it more special to own and enjoy. I bought an amazing vintage Electra semi hollow; completely re-stored with a great look and all new electronics! Plays like a dream! It may be the favorite guitar I own (don't tell the others I said that). Anyway, go see Jack. He works on guitars (and maybe other equipment; I am not sure) at a reasonable price. Thanks for reading!"

"Jack knows his guitars and he is a real professional. He's been good to deal with and I think anyone would enjoy working with him to find their next guitar. The shop is rad."

I had taken my guitar to multiple talented ppl and they just couldn’t bring this thing back to life. I thought all hope was lost. Then Jack stepped in and not only my axe, not only my sound, but my soul was completely restored. I have never trusted anyone more than this person and this company with anything of mine guitar related. I sleep better now, lost weight and reconnected with lost friends. Jack doesn’t just fix action, he takes action and makes you better. Give this man your guitar today. And he’s a fun guy to nerd out with.

The Vintage Kay Guitar Case I wanted to buy from Jack's Guitarcheology through Reverb was already sold. But, Jack, the Owner, receached out to me for info. about my Father's 1950's Kay Guitar so he could find another Vintage Case for my cherished heirloom. Great guy! Went the "Extra Mile" to help a First-time Customer. I Highly Reccommend! 👍👍👍👍👍

Very friendly staff! A wide variety of options from electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and ukuleles. Any attachments you may need or parts, they have them! Highly recommend this place!

Always super friendly and knowledgeable. Great inventory that feels curated for all tastes and soothing atmosphere. Support locally owned businesses!

I want to give Jack all of my money and take way too many of these guitars home. Did great work setting up a bass for me and flipping and guitar to lefty for my kid. I love this place and I need to find a way to be there more often.

I have bought multiple guitars via the mail from Jack (at least 3, maybe 4 now?) and every time has been an exceptional experience. Everything has been packed well and sent with great care, and his prices are fair. I’m sure I’ll buy another one from him before too long because he always finds the coolest stuff!

First time in. Great addition to downtown Lebanon. Trusted Jack with my 66 Jazz Bass and Breedlove acoustic. I recommend.
